As the year draws toward the end, focus on what you have learned this year, and all you have to be grateful for. Even if there have been significant challenges along the way, we all can appreciate the great opportunities we have each day to serve and provide comfort, inspiration and leadership for those in our sphere of influence.

Holiday season is a time to celebrate, not just the occasions, but life itself. We mark out times to pause, contemplate, and then rejoice in our good fortune, or look forward to better times, the essence of being human. Don’t look past your opportunities to be thankful toward those you serve, and those who serve you in some way, for in that gratitude, you express your inner drive to connect, both with others and with your higher self.

What is service, after all, than a chance to share your love and expertise in a useful, practical way? Your practice will reflect your willingness to serve, so before you can expect people to care how much you know, let them know how much you care.
