If a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, then you’ve just taken a first step toward a fulfilling and prosperous 2006 – how did it go? If you’re pleased with your efforts, then bravo! Prepare to follow through for a solid first quarter.

If you’re not so pleased yet, then what do you focus on first? Is the weaker area at the be or do level? Do you need to bring more to the table, or do you need to find a better seat? Learning to troubleshoot and correct your course is a necessary precondition for success.

Remember that who you are determines how well what you do works, so show up big whatever actions you decide to take. And what can you then do? Try the fundamentals first – ask for referrals, or commit to presenting a regular health care class. You can probably meet your new patient needs with just these two easy techniques, both of which cost zero dollars, and then use other types of promotions to grow on, when you feel ready and motivated to move ahead.

Using simple tools with extraordinary skill is a sign of genius. Be creative and apply the basics in new ways, and watch the results!
